Trying to convert 3 currencies without direct link to each – please read description?

Hi there.

I basically have some currency tables and how they convert against Pounds Sterling (GBP, £).

Here is the information I have.

GBP = 1
USD = 0. 6785
ZND = 0. 4813

Now I'm basically trying to convert USD to NZD based on the figures above for a calculator I'm doing. I can't store the values for the rates of USD compared to NZD sadly.

What is the best way to figure this out please? General someone will input an amount of currency (say 10 USD) and wish to get the amount of NZD out.

Thanks for your help.

Russian Rubles to US Dollars?

I am doing a research project on Rasputin and one of my sources says he was paid 10,000 rubles per year. I need the conversion of rubles to dollars from 1917, as that is when my source was published. Once I know that I can put it in an inflation calculator to get an accurate estimation of how much that would be today. I already asked Google and they said that 10,000 rubles was equal to 341 dollars, but this is most likely today's currency rates. Please help!

Archos 605 WiFi(30GB), Zune HD(16 GB), or Samsung P3(16GB)?

I really can't decide at all!

- I don't want to spend more than $200.
- I will be using this device heavily; at least an hour every day.
- I will be using it for a few hours of video, more than 100 pictures, and at least 5GBs of music. Plus plenty of web browsing.

- The order they are listed it is the order in which I favor them.
- These are the PROS and CONS of each(for my purpose of the device).

Archos 605 WiFi(30GB, $160[$140 for the device and $20 to get the web browser plugin]):
PROS: It's an Archos, so you know it's gonna be done right. Record TV directly to it; 4. 3" touch screen(480x800 pixels); tons of memory; PDF reader; and the widgets that you can download are the only widgets I would use(unit/currency converter, weather, notepad, calculator)
CONS: May be a little too large to have in my pocket all day, every day.
- My friend has a 250GB Archos 5 and he really likes it. He just wishes it were a bit smaller. I have used it, and I think the OS(operating system) is alright, but it could be better(the OS on both my friend's Archos 5 and 605 are the same)
http://www. archos. com/products/gen_5/archos_605wifi/index. html?country=us&lang=en

Zune HD(16GB, $200)
PROS: Very attractive and pocketable; Zune Pass; HD video capabilities; HD radio; very responsive OLED, multi-touch screen; WiFi capable.
CONS: Few apps; strange/difficult to use touch keypad.
- Another friend has a 16GB Zune HD, and he has nothing bad to say about it.
http://zune. net/en-us/products/zunehd/zunehd16/features. htm

Samsung P3(16GB, $200):
PROS: Haptic feedback; supports many audio and video files; embedded speaker; multiple home screen to put various shortcut/widgets/games on; numerous preset audio settings(Live, Rock, Hip Hop, Classical, etc. ); ability to change song play speed without sacrificing tone(voice doesn't get high-pitched when you play the file faster, or get lower when you play it slower)
CONS: No WiFi; rather unattractive/to bland or bleak.
http://www. samsung. com/us/consumer/mobile/mp3-players/mp3-players/YP-P3JES/XAA/index. idx?pagetype=prd_detail&tab=features

I just wish there was a device between the size of the 605 and Zune HD, and had all the PROS of the Samsung and Zune and capabilities of the Archos. . .
If there actually is, let me know!!!
Thanks in advance.

What is the best GPS to own?

I am willing to pay a little extra for a GPS if the quality matches the price. Yesterday my purse got pick-pocketed for my Garmin nuvi 250. That unit worked great!

I have read the reviews on the Garmin nuvi 770 and saw that there were more issues than I would expect since it is a higher end unit. I want all the features of the 250 (does not have to be a Garmin) with real time traffic updates. The 250 had other features such as:

preloaded maps
points of interest
JPEG picture viewer
world travel clock with time zones
currency converter
measurement converter
calculator
Garmin Lock
configurable vehicle icons
Optional plug-in SD cards

So if anyone has any personal experiences or advice on the best automobile GPS unit to own then please share!

Nokia N82 or Samsung Omnia i910?

I've read extensive reviews and I'm down to these two phones. I know about the cameras and flashes and whatnot. I'm reaching out to owners with a couple of technical questions:
Do either have a tip calculator?

What's the limit on the voice recorders?

Small features, but I love 'em. All very useful to me. So who does better in these specific arenas?

basic maths problems?

i'm 23, and since I left school, although I can balance books, etc, I cannot operate my life without a calculator, and to be honest, I wouldn't know where to begin.
Soething that would be useful (as an adult) would be to know the formula, in childlike simplicity, because I cannot convery the Pound into anything else, and I don't have an understanding of how it works.

Any tips where I can find out my initial question, and how to convert currency without a calculator. I want to use my brain!

Can you piece it together?

A Calculator, Chinese currency, a pencil, a shoe horn, the A of Hearts (card), pack of lighting matches, letter opener, sunglasses, stopwatch, erasers, chalk, chopsticks.

A story about irony, incorporating at least 4 of these things.

Irony as in A guy jumps off a roof to commit suicide and hits a car which causes it to crash, the car driver was his beloved wife and the man miraculously lives through the fall but his wife dies.

^Don't use that example though of course icon biggrin Can you piece it together?

This story is only half a page so just a short idea on how to use these things.

How well do you utilize your cell phone!?

I'm just curious! They call me "FBI" because of the things i use my cell phone to do! I use a Samsung D500 and here are the things i use mine for:

1 have mu complete school time table and school bus time table for the week;
i also use the alarm reminder along with the scheduler;
i have my friends' birthdays, with reminders;
i use the timer when cooking (cos i always burn my food by leaving it cooking for too long);
i use the stopwatch in timeing myself, eg. when swiming, cycling, going to school, cooking, etc on almost daily bases;
i use the MP3 player to listen to my favourite songs;
i used the calculator almost daily for regualar calculation, in scool, and at the shop (currency converter);
i used;
i play games with it;
i record funny arguments, lectures, songs, etc. ;
i take pictures of things, places and people i like;
i also record videos of places, people and things i like;
i use it in sending text messages too! lol!;

What do you do with your cell phone!?
i also use it to transfer songs and pictures for friends, from PC to phone and vice versa (using bluetooth and/or infrared);
I can't use WAP or MMS bcos of my mobile phone operator. I also wish i could use it as a webcam!
Nice one from answerer 2! I also use it to call people; and with the loud speaker too! I also use the camera's flash light as headlight when cylcling a night, or as tourch light in the dark!

anyone know where in Tucson, AZ or close I can can in some Mexican Pecos this weekend or even monday at latest?

I am asking this ? for a friend who doesn''t have a computer, let alone know how to use one. Anyway, she has alot of Mexican currency, one of which is a 5000. 00 (I have heard that is out of circulation now since 1993 now though so it might not be worth anything but on the other hand i have been on-line on various currency calculators that say it's worth $370 to $441 as of today?? so I don't know about that one). But as far as the smaller ones up to 1000 that they still make, does anyone know where i can cash them in for US dollars preferably this weekend or else where should I look to on Monday. If anyone knows send me a link, or specific directions, or website, phone number, or whatever. Thanks everyone!

Question about inflation.?

Okay I'm trying to make this less confusing as possible.

So I plugged into a currency calculator (http://data. bls. gov/cgi-bin/cpicalc. pl) 5 years ago 51. 81 has the same buying power as 60. 01 today.

Just say inflation and such over the past 5 years repeats its self. My student loans after school will be 60 dollars a month. They go back into repayment 5 years from now, show I put it into my head It will be like paying 51 dollarsish today?

What’s the best way to convert my US dollars into New Zealand dollars?

I'm going to be living in New Zealand for a year, and I have roughly $4000 saved up as starting-off money in case it takes a while to find employment. I'll have a bank account over there.

Using an online currency calculator, $4000 US equals about $5200 NZ right now. What I want to know is where can I get the best rate. I'm pretty sure that anywhere I go (my bank, AAA, the airport), they'll take a percentage of the money out as a charge for making the exchange. Would it be better to get traveller's checks and take them to New Zealand or to have the money wired from my bank here to my bank account over there?

Shopto.net Question!!?

Hi all, I was wondering if anybody in the US has ever ordered from Shopto. net.
It's a website in the UK that sells games.
I want to buy a game from there but want to get some feedback from it first.
How long did it take you to get your game?
How much did it cost?

Also, say I wanted to buy LittleBigPlanet from there.
It costs only 25. 99€.
Now using a currency calculator it says that it should come out to about 33. 5 USD.
Is that right?
Would the game be only $33 plus shipping?
Thanks for your help.
If you live in the US and have ordered from there please send me an email.

How much is my Ukrainian money worth in Canadian dollars?

I have 5 Ukrainian bills. Im not sure exactly what the currency is called but from what I have found on the internet i think it is called Karbovantsiv or something like that. So here is what i have:
-one 1,000,000 Karbovantsiv 'http://www. banknotes. com/ua100. htm'
-two 500,000 Karbovantsiv 'http://www. banknotes. com/UA99. JPG'
-two 200,000 Karbovantsiv 'http://www. banknotes. com/UA98. JPG'
For a total of 2,400,000 Karbovantsiv.
The pictures of the bills I have found on those sites, match the bills that i have in my wallet.
On a currency calculator I found out that 2,400,000 Ukranian is worth $317,000, but the currency was not called Karbovantsiv, it was called Hryvnia.
